Hi! My name is Woojin Joo and I'll be opening up a primary care clinic near Central LA/ktown
I'm looking for a medical assistant with a phlebotomy certification.
If you are looking for a position that involves handling a variety of tasks, this can be an exciting opportunity for you.
Some tasks may include, calling and scheduling patients, managing phone calls, taking vitals, phlebotomy, assisting with patient forms, creating patient charts in the EHR, credentialing, etc
I expect business to be slow in the beginning, so there will be enough downtime to learn as we go. This will be a good fit for someone motivated to learn as much as possible, with a start up mentality.
By the end, you will gain enough skills to manage an entire practice. Whether or not that's what you're looking for, this position will open doors to more options for whatever you decide to do next.
I hope to be able to prioritize your long-term career growth, beyond traditional MA roles if things work out well.
Some requirements are i) phlebotomy certification, and ii) bilingual conversational in Korean and English.
