DESCRIPTION
Miss Me is seeking a fashion enthusiast who is detail oriented, organized, and hard working to join our team as a Technical Designer in support of our Production Department. This is a full time position Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm.​

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Examine and measure production samples to ensure accurate execution of requested specs.
• Ensure accurate measurement of garments and identify any fit issues.
• Compile information on all garment fit, construction, trim, stitch, and fabric into comment document.
• Provide comments to factory in a timely manner to ensure the fit process stays in line with given timelines.
• Take detailed notes of product fittings and clearly communicate all fit components to vendors in Adobe Illustrator.
• Communicate with vendors on fit construction and problem-solve current and/or potential fit issues.
• Communicate with design team and oversea vendors regarding sales samples.
• Schedule and lead fit sessions.
• Communicate changes to achieve final fit and construction to meet brand requirement consistently.
• Assist supervisor and manager in all pre-production related confirmation to vendors.​

QUALIFICATIONS
• Possess 2-3 years of experience as Denim Technical Designer; Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Demonstrate clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
• Possess strong interpersonal skills
• Outstanding organization and time management skills
• Ability to navigate MS Office and Adobe Illustrator with ease
• Have a keen eye to identify fit issues and recommend solutions
• Understanding of garment construction and fabric types
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced fashion environment​

Quality Control Inspector

DESCRIPTION
Miss Me is seeking a fashion enthusiast who is detail oriented, organized, and hard working to join our team as a Quality Control Inspector. This is a full time position Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Inspect quality and tolerance standards for style and construction details
• Communicate with vendors about finished products and present specification, wash, and trim issues
• Maintain knowledge of trends in garment construction, textiles, fabrics, washes, packing lists, and technical packs
• Work closely with pre-production and design departments to report on product quality and develop ways to prevent future issues
• Deliver progress reports to management, sales, warehouse, and production teams on a daily basis
• Initiate and build global vendor relationships to improve quality
• Stay updated on all new design and pre-production standards and procedures
• Prepare for fittings and communicate with models and technical designers for any fit, pattern, and sewing issues
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
• Associates Degree (or equivalent) with 1-2 years prior fashion industry experience preferred Prior QC/Inspector experience 
   is recommended
• Experience in spec measurement preferred
• Basic knowledge of garment construction
• Demonstrate clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
• Possess strong interpersonal skills
• Must be detail-oriented and have outstanding organization and time management skills to meet strict deadlines
• Must be proficient with MS Office (Outlook/Excel/Word) Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator experience preferred
• General proficiency with tools, systems, and procedures
