iSnö Café is a health-focused dessert company specializing in flavor-rich shaved snow, tasty stuffed croissants, and refreshing beverages. We are looking for a well-rounded individual who is diligent, responsible, friendly and capable of leading team members to fulfill day to day operations as Assistant Store Manager for our Quick Service Restaurant style store located in Santa Monica. The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for maintaining the efficient daily operations of the store and the management of the staff. They will also oversee inventory, coordinate the ordering of food and supplies, and ensure that guests are satisfied with their experience.
Serves as the main point of contact between the store and corporate level.
Oversees and manages all areas of the store and makes decisions on guest service issues.
Maintains appropriate store image, including cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards.
Communicates with guests and employees to solve problems and ensures complete guest satisfaction.
Inspects food receiving, preparation, production and storage areas to ensure health and safety regulations are always being adhered to.
Supervises cleaning and maintenance of equipment and arranges for repairs, maintenance, and other services.
Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Ensures sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas.
Ensures consistent high quality of food preparation and service.
Monitors food and supply inventory, placing orders to HQ for fulfillment when needed.
Supervises portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste.
Provides direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues.
Attracts, interviews, selects and hires hourly employees.
Conducts new hire orientations, trains and certifies employees.
Develops employees by providing ongoing feedback, establishing performance expectations and by conducting performance reviews.
Actively participates and leads store level events, initiatives and/or marketing activities.
Minimum one-year management or supervisory level experience in the food/restaurant industry preferred.
Working knowledge of POS Systems.
High school diploma or GED Equivalent.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
ServSafe Manager certified.
Must live near Santa Monica
