Job Title: Junior Level Mortgage Loan Processor

Job Summary:
Responsible for supporting processing staff and branches by performing a variety of duties, including validating and requesting loan documentation in order to ensure timely closing and accuracy in each loan transaction. Work closely with an assigned Loan Processor or group of Loan Processors to get loans through swiftly by assisting with third party vendor requests, verifying disclosure compliance, and performing other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Review the mortgage application received and verify the information identified in Encompass
- Verify the accuracy of disclosures and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Perform third party vendor requests, including but not limited to, requesting IRS transcripts, credit supplements, written verifications of employment, flood certifications, title work requests, and ordering property appraisals
- Set up loan files with initial documents organized in Encompass before giving the file to a Loan Processor for further evaluation
- Manage an assigned pipeline to meet closing expectations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years’ experience in processing mortgage loans is preferred
- Proficiency in various software programs, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to multi task and monitor daily workflow
- Excellent follow up, problem solving, and analytical skills
